Chrysanthemum name derived from Greek words
“Chrys” and “anthemum” which means golden flower.
The Chrysanthemum signifies loyalty,
hopefulness, happiness and endurance.
Wealth as a meaning is associated with Chrysanthemum
due to which is very popular among florist. Various shapes and sizes of
chrysanthemum flower come in a huge range of colours. Chrysanthemum can be of
round shaped, daisy shape or ball shape.
A cluster of many flowers headed in each
chrysanthemum flower and short disk flowers are centrally composed and
surrounded with longer ray flowers.
Chrysanthemum flowers are originated to
Eurasian region and are tropical flowers. Flavoured tea of Chrysanthemum used
for relaxation and is very popular.
How to grow: No specific kind of soil is required to grow
the Chrysanthemum but for best performance sunny weather is required.
Areas where low rainfall during the season of rain, seeds of chrysanthemum can
be spread there. Approx. three months of
sowing the seeds, chrysanthemum plants flowers can be seen. Period of flowering
is long.
On the regular basis after transplantation, watering is required,
