Iris, a tall and beautiful flower named after the greek goddess who rode
rainbows of many magical colors. Iris is in more demand within gardeners. It is
easier, reliable to grow.
Butterflies and hummingbirds are more attracted from Iris.
Iris flowers have three “falls” i.e. the large outer petals and three “standards”
i.e. the inner upright petals of the Iris. Most Irises flowers bloom in early
summers. Height of the most varieties of the Iris reaches to one to four feet
tall.
Iris flowers comprise about
260-300 species and thousands of cultivators. Bearded
Iris, Siberian Iris and Spuria Iris are popular species of garden Iris. Iris
symbolizes trust, friendship and hope.
How to grow:
Bunches of fan-shaped

To propagate the Iris rhizomes, cut the leaves and replant them with the
rhizomes just above the soil.

Iris Flowers are cherished for their beauty,
graceful shape, low maintenance and multi-colored blooms. Iris Flowers are very
attractive versatile perennial and can be used as a border plants for the
woodland garden, the rock garden, for the pool side.
