Calla Lilies are most beautiful and unique flower form generally found in Southern Africa.  They signify beauty and magnificence and are excellent for flower arrangements, borders, bouquets and best for beds.

On the full growth of Calla Lilies have average 1 and 3 feet height and 1 to 1 and 1/2 feet diameter. Calla lily leaves are rich green and shaped like arrowheads and have white or silver speckles, 1 and ½ inch long.

How to grow:  

Callas are grown in two ways Indoor and Outdoor. To grow Callas Indoor in a container:

1. Moisten the potting mix first to pot the rhizome. Place the mix in a plastic tube and add a little warm water to it, mixing it properly with your hand until the mix is moist.
2. Fill the pot with 2/3 of mix and place the rhizome, with the growing tip facing up and fill the remaining mix into the pot to cover the rhizome. Place in a warm room and water thoroughly.
3. Soil should be evenly moist while you await the appearance of the shoot. As the growth starts, set the pot in a sunny window.
4. Maintain the saucer filled with water for the constant supply of moisture.  Bloom shows between 8 to 16 weeks after potting.
5. In summers, move the pot to the outdoors to spot the full sun.

Propagation:

Calla lilies can be propagating by growing them from seeds.
